    Hi all.

I've gone a bit batty about English lavender, in particular munstead.

I've sown a load of seeds with the intention of bordering our driveway with this magnificent plant.

The seedlings got off to a great start but are now becoming slightly straggly. In comparison to the normally dense compact habit of the adult plants.

They were started on a warm windowsill in the conservatory before being moved outside after a few weeks.

Is this normal? Is it advisable to pick the tops off to encourage side growth etc?

    Any advice would be appreciated...

    Cheers.
    Paul.

They look healthy enough but probably want more light, or did at some point. I think I'd try pinching out to make them bushy, but nothing too drastic, just the tips.
