Strange growths on lambs ear

    Got these strange pointy / furry growths all over the underside of my lambs ear plant. Garden is north facing, although these are in a fairly sunny spot, and it had been growing nicely for a couple of years. The growths make little holes in the leaves. Any ideas? Capture.PNG

    Hi @EllieOLeary it is a leaf miner Coleophora lineolea. It is the larvae of a moth and is very common.. It is from a these Coleophoridae - Wikipedia
    This is the larvae time..
    Time of year - larvae: September to May

    Time of year - adults: Flight period is from late June to August..
