Strange thing concerning slugs!!

    I haven't got any!!! I have been here 16 months now and even after it has rained there are very few snails and NO slugs!! I mentioned it to my neighbour and she hasn't got any either!!!:huh: Is Wales slug free? :heehee:

    Blaenau Ffesteringhog certainly wasn't, they even used to slime the kitchen up.

    I have been putting down a few pellets as something is giving my dahlias and hostas a good chewing....all the watering i suppose.:gaah:

      hardly seen any for 3 weeks , if they have any sense they will have gone to ground .

      Vine weevil time though !! but only caught one up to now

      Here too! I've carpet bombed the borders with pellets, hostas are hole free, but the dahlias??!! I reckon ear wigs. Did have lily beetle on my lilies but a spray with bug clear sorted that, same with the black/green/white fly, nuked them as well.

      I can see slime trails on what`s left of my dahlias, My hosta are in big tubs and I found 2 snails Wednesday after a cursory look.
