Strangest looking lettuce I've ever seen

    Looks more like rocket, but why in a hanging basket ?

      I've grown other lettuce succesfully in hanging baskets before, think this variety doesn't like it haha

        They don't seem to like it, rocket should be bushier, instead yours look to be running straight to seed. Maybe not enough sun.

          Looking again it could be a salad mix you have sown, it's not all rocket. Being so close together is making them go leggy.

            Yeah I was going to thin them out as they got bigger but they just went like this super fast lol

              Too close together and maybe they got dry at some point, that would make them bolt.

                Has the basket grown lots of plants before ? ie is it depleted of nutrient/watered for a long time?
