Strawberrie plants

    Hello fellow gardeners
    I have 4 strawberry plants that are doing marvolas they have blomed and got green strawberyys on them thats good what i want to know is on one of them I have what looks like 2 runners coming off and growing out they be about 7 inches long, I herd that you can grow new plants off thease is this correct and how and when do I do it.

    i usually just bury the middle of the runner and it should start to root :)

    The runners will re-root themselves if left. My next door neighbour is growing strawberries and we have gained about 25 small plants from runners which have grown under the fence and re-rooted.

    I have invasive strawberries. Wish they wd make more fruit and less runners.
