Strawberries

I've never had strawberry plants before, and keep seeing them in the garden centres and wondering if i should buy a few, are they hard to grow and care for etc? I don't really know much about them?

My gardening this year is very much restricted to containers :( since we'll probably have moved by the time summer is out so i've had to abandon my veggie plot so they'd be grown in a container (i can lay my hands to any kind thats no problem) but i would just like to know if it would be worth my while trying or not? :cnfs: Also what to expect if i do try....

Any help or words of wisdom would be hugely appreciated!!!
