strawberry help please

    I have a strawberry patch that is very heavily foliage, I think it's overcrowding the fruit and preventing air flow and sunlight thus ripening, should I trim out some of the excess leaves? Thank you in advance for any help.

    By all means thin some out but not too much

    Hi Cindy

    From what you have said in your post they are growing/planted to close to each other , I agree with Looffah again some but not all leaves, the more you expose the more the birds will spot them
