Can I get some advice about my strawberry tree? The leave are discoloured by what I believe is a fungus. There are also some leggy / dead shoots from the branches. I have cut back the dead shoots/branches but I'm unsure what to do about the leaves. Should I do a hard prune of the affected areas? Anything else? Photos attached.

    Thanks! 20250408_140829.jpg 20250408_140834.jpg 20250408_140907.jpg 20250408_140912.jpg

Try to remove any leaves that you can, including those fallen on the ground. It doesn’t look too bad and may well recover if you improve the soil around it by incorporating organic matter and keep it well watered. There are two different fungi that can cause these symptoms. Arbutus doesn’t normally need pruning but I hard pruned mine last year and it is recovering, slowly.

Mine have some leaves that look similar, I've never done anything as the new growth usually covers it up.
And the damaged leaves fall as you are finding which I think is pretty normal for this time of the year.
