streptocarpus or cape primrose

    Every year I get hooked on certain plants this year it is streptocarpus. Is there a swop site for any other collectors? I have most of the named ones but not all and the States seem to have some we don't. Yellow

    Hi, yellow, and welcome to GC.

    Streptocarpus (Cape Primrose) is very American (having lived there for 14 years in my adult life) and is a houseplant basically.

    I've been away from the UK now for several years so don't know if it's popular there and may now be able to be grown outside in the summertime, so I'll turn you over to our houseplant experts ....

    Yes, they are the people who produce the Strep food that I've got - a good source, forgot about that one, KF! ;) :D
