I have a Strep 'Laura', given to me by a friend for my birthday a couple of years ago, as it happens to be my name too. It's a lovely deep mauve colour

Today I was checking the rootball for potting on and saw amongst the fine foots, about halfway down the pot, small leafy growths along the roots. The leaves are pale green, because of lack of light, and about 3mm across.
I have carefully detached a length of root with these little rootlings and potted them up.

    Has anyone else had this?

Not seen that Laura, I only have one, a blue/yellow bicolor (Charlotte) from which I have taken leaf cuttings and rooted in a cup of water.
If your 'plantlet ' has been protected in a moist surrounding in the pot it may need to be placed in a plastic bag to retain moisture and avoid dyring out now it has been removed.:)

Good thinking strongy. I will pop it under a plastic cover.
