How many of you wear goggles to protect your eyes while string trimming?

    I recently skipped the goggles.

Ill give an honest answer based on laziness. But i wouldn't advocate it

For any long grass, anywhere were there might be dog or cat mess or when strimming cow parsley then I wear a helmet. Obviously also when I'm using a blade on it or strimming near gravel.

For regularly trimmed edges I just wear my Oakley sunglasses as eye protection and ear defenders, If i was employing someone then i would make the wear a helmet but as its only me i can, and do please myself.

BTW, Oakleys do have reasonable impact resistance, with edges the most that flicks is usually a little soil.
