    Hello Webmaster. :)

I, being sort of in the Med, would like to request a separate section on the above. Other than the fact that's what I know about gardening, I believe Sub Tropical / Tropical / Mediterranean gardening is very popular in the UK at the moment.

Currently I have to post in Other Plants / Trees / Shrubs / Container Gardening as there is no particular place to post anything of this nature and things get lost and many things repeated where it is not necessary.

I think it would be a useful section for many and everything could be in 'one place', with perhaps it's own ID sub-section.

Would like you to consider this request seriously .... thank you .... muitas obrigadinhas. :)

I so hope this happens and that I am given 'permission' to move over threads that really need to be here for easy access. :)

Of course, I will have to review how to 'move over threads' before I do so .... :D:help:

Did you see this as a tidying and renaming ? 'Other Plants' (Houseplants, Exotic species and anything else unusual.) pretty much covers Sub Tropical / Tropical / Med Gardening and there is stuff in there that should be relocated to a more appropriate home anyway:)

Let's try again as I just lost everything due to my stupidity of posting when the system is down ...... :dh:

Yes, I thought housekeeping is due here in this day and age .... we are no longer Palour Palms in the house ,... they now live in the garden! From what I gather from posts here there are many folk who are into tropical, sub-tropical and Med gardening in the UK but don't know where to post their queries or requests for identifcation at the moment. Is it in Other Plants, Trees, General Gardening Discussions, Introduction, Identification ..... shrubs, wildlife, photography .... oh, sorry, I digresss ....

I think a separate forum is needed in this day and age for these speciality but popular flora.

And yes I think lots of neat things should be moved into this new forum when it is created so that we have a working file immediaely.

    everyone,

Consider it done, I will start up the new topic area a little later.

What would you prefer as the Topic area's name ? Tropicals ?
