Success

At the beginning of the year I moved an open front bird box in our back garden that hadn't been used. I put it in a dense part of our hawthorn hedge, but the thought occurred to me that there still wouldn't be much cover until the hedge came in to leaf, so I had a lightbulb moment and recycled our Christmas wreath and wired it in place around the box.

Today I noticed a well developed nest in the box which given there was a robin sat in the hedge looking rather proud that's probably the new occupant, I'm over the moon

Been watching regularly today and seen two robins actively nest building all day, in and out several times a minute between them
