Suggestions Please

Previously there must have been 'one in hand' otherwise the next month's subject would have always been delayed until voting for the previous month had been finalised and the winner had chosen a subject, so a winner must have missed a turn somewhere in the recent past, but unless that person puts their hand up PDQ it needs another subject to be chosen by means such as,

1) Winner who chose current subject gets to choose a second.

2) GC members make some suggestions over the next 7 or so days and either post here/PM Woo and he draws one out of a hat.

Personally, I'd like to see 2, rather than 1 advance subjects chosen now, so there's always a 'reserve', no rush for a winner to make a decision, enabling forthcoming month's competitions to be posted (locked) weeks in advance to enable the preparation and planning that might result in more entries.

3) same as #2 but woo pulls 3 out of the hat and puts it members vote?

Should a problem arise in the future that would still leave 2 topics "in the wood" should they ever be needed.

 

Or everything suggested is put to vote and posted as 'suggestions', plus volunteers go back to previous threads a compile a complete list of all previous compo subjects, nothing wrong with doing a good thing again.

I really think it's a good idea to get advance warning on what subjects are coming up.

 

Why not let Sheal pick as she's just won the 2014 competition.
That way the July winner can pick September, August winner October and so on.

There's some good ideas here but obviously it's not for me to comment on the last one.

Marley Farley could be asked to make a choice for us.

I think the final decision has to be made by Woo.
