    Hi All

Whats are the uses/differences for yellow & green sulphur in the garden.

As my Tuberous Begonia book (new) has a useful list of stuff to have.

They are both the same in essence. They are used as fungicides. I sprinkle Sulphur into the rosettes of Primula allionii and Auriculas to stop Botrytis.

      Morning
I'm not sure about the difference between yellow and green sulphur, but I use flowers of sulphur (a yellow dust) to protect stored dahlia tubers from fungal attack over the winter. I've also seen references to it being used, as chips, to acidfy soil though regular application was required. Another use was burning sulphur as a fumigant for greenhouses in autumn.
I don't think that flowers of sulphur are still sold as a fungicide but sulphur candles are still available as are fungicides containing sulphur.
