Summer Day Out At High Force

went to high force today weather was fabulous.went with my friend, i went on top of the waterfall and i fell on the boulders hurt my hip it was a bit slippy, heres pics i got.seen these lovely collies when we got there.

 

took these pics on the way back stopped off on the moors at teesdale on way back to hexham, northumberland.

 

thanks peri, i took 200 pics just kept snapping so put best ones out on here, yes its the pennines, the locals call it the moors, my hip seems ok for now, my friend thought i had fallen off and into the waterfall as the boulders were big and from were she stood she said i dissapeeared for a second when i fell hehe. anyway had a great day, going to barnard castle next time i go up there, its such a wonderful place certainly changed since i was there when i was 10 year old, the river is deeper than what it was as we used to swim under the waterfall you cant now.anyway pleased you like pics

It looks like you had a wonderful day out with your friend. It looks absolutely gorgeous there. It reminds me of when we went to Wales and the sheep and ponies were wandering all over the road.

The scenery is lovely-nothing better than going out for the day with a friend :luv:

thanks jazmine, we had a great day brought back so many happy memories of my childhood, my friend thought id gone over into the waterfall she said she was terrified when she saw me dissapear as i was close to the waterfall at the very top, iff i had gone down there doubt i would of survived anyway i was ok
