I'd replace that with can be whitewashed. I'm using bubblewrap inside. It keeps the heat in in winter and out in summer. Dual purpose and in MHO less faffing about ;)

I agree with sarra, once bubble insulation is installed it`s working all year round.

The only trouble with leaving the bubble wrap up it suffers u.v degredation and breaks up I have some blinds you fasten on the outside and they reflect half the sunlight striking the g/house roof ,quite expensive but work great had them about 4yrs now, bubble wrap is stored until laterin the year.

I agree Walnut it will degrade, but you can get about 3 years use out of it before renewing.

I use Hortishade but I think that is trade only.
I must be the only person that has applied shading on the inside. The glasshouse at work is about 1/4 acre and I am not allowed to walk along the gutters, which are V shaped anyway, due to H&S. I cannot climb up a ladder with a knapsack sprayer on my back and spray through open vents (H&S), it is too vast to put up bubble wrap so I don't have any option but to spray from the inside.

    Its rain proof once dry.

Spray or paint it from outside. On the inside your providing an easyer surface for mould and bacteria to colonise.

On these plastic greenhouses all of the roof panels are defused so there is no need for anything to keep it cool its just a matter of hoseing down the concrete floor to keep the temp down [IMG]

I use the bubble wrap myself. Once its up its up for a while. I keep a lot of plants in the greenhouse over winter, so like the added protection.
