summer jasmin

    is it ok to cut back summer jasmin now and if it is by how much?i only bought and planted it last year and its only grown about 2ft.it looks a bit tattered now after the snow and everything and think theres more to come.should i leave it a bit longer? :rolleyes

    if it is the summer flowering Jasmine, they should be pruned after flowering so that new shoots are produced before the onset of winter, as it is this growth that flowers.
    I would suggest you just tie in the growth you have as this should flower in the summer, when finighed, then prune..
