                  I took some photos but they're rubbish! My camera is not of sufficient quality for these type of photos. 2.45 a.m. just a small glowing, indistinct, ball in the middle of the screen. 4.45 a.m. totally obscured by cloud. 5.45 a.m. an indistinct arc. :sad: :doh: One more try shortly.

                        Checked direction of moon during eclipse yesterday evening, planned location, packed camera bag, set alarm for 4:30, got up and walked to end of street shortly before 5:00, low cloud in every direction, nothing to be seen, went back to bed.

                        Think it's about 10 years before I need to do that again.
