I've heard so much about these I want to grow these this year, I've had a breif look around the places I normally order my seeds from but none stock. Can anyone recommend a supplier of Amish Paste?

    Many thanks

    Morning Steve...
The mighty Ebay is a great source for the odd seed packet or two.

    Hey Robert,

Great thread, i'd not seen that as it was before my time here. Blimey they had some girth on them. Reminded me of the mrs somehow.

With the "paste" part of the name, is that due to the Amish growing them to make tomato pureƩ ?

Your getting those going quite early Robert, any particular reason for that? Or is it simply to get an earllier ripening toms?

    Yes. You are right Steve.
I remember they do take some time during the season to ripen and It appears they really like the sun.
    Remember mine are grown outdoors.
I have just got a heated 22w propagator yesterday and its working now with the fist batch of Armish and Gardeners delight.
They can mature as long as they like in the conservatory before going out.
