I'd like a couple of these this summer with the 'blue' surfinias.
    So, 3 questions-
How many surfinias would fill a cone of about 12" diameter?
Would I need something in the middle or would the surfinias have a bit of height to fill that area too?
Has anyone seen willow cones for sale cheaply? They have a selection in Wilko's for £1.99 but they're not plain willow. All sorts of patterns with ferns and leaves, but I want plain. B&Q's are £8!

DB I googled for surfinas could only see one image of surfina but put in petunia and got these.

How about just all the same plant a stunning splash of colour the same colour looks really well in a basket.

Even a container all yellow or purple look forward to seeing your finished basket.

But any favourite summer flower you like would look well.
