Before I went on my cruise Maddie started favouring her left front leg, as it was not improving, deteriorating if anything, I took her to the vet, he diagnosed a sprained pad and prescribed Metacam, an anti inflammatory.51-50
Took her to kennels on the Sunday I was going away, all well and good until the day I was due home, which as most of you know was delayed. the kennels noticed her foot was quite swollen, off to my vet, which is fortunately the nearest to them,
Diagnosed with an abscess between her toes, pain killers, antibiotics, more metacam, I took her tonight and she was given the all clear, deep breath go and pay the bill, 2 visits from kennel prescribed medication, and the final visit from me 71-11, I asked if that was for everything, which was confirmed, so came away very pleased.
