Survey among the users: do you know what grass have you sed ?

    Hi to everyone !
    Just a quick survey among the users of this forum to make myself an idea about what lawns look like.

    Here the question: do you know what kind of grass have you sed in your lawn ?

    If you do, it would be nice if everyone would reply to this thread so that the final result will be a straighforward detailed list of the kinds of grass sed by everyone of you.

    It would be also interesting if you can post a picture of your own kind of grass so that images can better explain what words say and so that it will be clear what the "layout" looks like.


    To start with, here my reply:

    Kind of grass: "Festuca Arundinacea"

    Brief description according to Wikipedia:
    "Synonimous are: Lolium Arondinaceum Derbyshire,
    Schedonorus phoenix Holub.
    Commonly known as Tall fescue.
    It is native to Europe.
    It is an important forage grass throughout Europe as well as ornamental grass in gardens."
