Just a quick thought would one of those survival blankets be any good at insulating a GH.
Only doing the sides with it and bubble wrapping the roof?

My first thoughts would be no.
Dont they rely on a heat source, ie the body, and then reflect it back?

No, you'm better off saving it in your survival kit.

No, white paper reflects more usefull wavelengths, better off keeping it with the rest of the survival stuff, along with a few years supply of heritage seeds (no use in keeping F1's in a survival situation )

Geoff Hamilton always brought out his window sill cardboard box lined with tin foil, each year.

I used foil last year but noticed you can get a good sized survival blanket for under £2:thumbsup:

I used a survival blanket to line my first light box , they are amazingly cheap on Ebay . I use diamond mylar for lining now, that really does the job well.
Look at the price for a survival blanket / tent !!! £0.99 . Premier Inns will never match that !
