    oh wow - what is the incubation period for swan's eggs? Would be great if you can get early pics of the cygnets as they are born as well!

    Swan's eggs take 35 days, thereabouts.

    Thank you Natalie and SussexG,I usually visit them every day,and have noticed that the Pen sits on them all the morning and the Cob takes over in the afternoon,but as of yet The only time I have seen the eggs is when the Pen stands up and changes position :dh:Oh thanks for that Info SussexG much appreciated:thmb::)

    My son used to belong to a junior rowing club. The swans didn't like sharing their river with a bunch of kids in boats and were quite aggressive when they had cygnets around. Everything used to grind to a halt while the swans expressed their displeasure by puffing out their wings and swimming repeatedly to and fro in front of the boats!
