    I've been gardening here in North London for the last 2 years, can I grow a decent swede? can I hell! I had no trouble growing them 18 miles away in Hertfordshire before I became a Londoner :'(

    Swedes are far superior but they need a lot of moisture, also mine grow better in semi shade.

    Hi again Vince. I grew swedes fine last year. The books seem to say they're an easy vegetable, so I've bought 1000 seeds this year...
