Just received your package of seeds and one very soggy plantlet (bottlebrush?) which is drying out on my sink. All the seeds are of plants I really like and I hope they will develop this summer. The only problem I foresee is from the numerous birds that visit my garden. I cover the ground with bramble twigs to deter the birds and the squirrels who are the real menace. They raid my corkscrew hazel long before the nuts ripen. Anyway is the address on the inner envelope yours? I'd like to send you at least the postage for taking the trouble to send me these seeds/plant. I love the picture of the mullein in the "wildflower" section but can you identify the rose pink flowers at the back.

Wildflower - apologies for the unnecessary 'b' in front of your name.

the rose pink flowers at the back are just mallow they are really common you can buy them everywhere including marks and spencers plant section..no i dont want the postage i told you that i just hope your seeds all grow..we have a lot of birds and squirells here the squirell picks all our hazelnuts so we never get any..the soggy plant is australian bottlebrush ..i started the seeds off in january and its only grown that much in all this time..next year it will be better..hope you get all your seeds growing ..you do know that you have to protect the cardoon in the winter and it needs a sunny spot..just leaves over the root will do to keep jack frost out..
