Can anyone help, I am thinking about growing sweet peas through another shrub, what I have in mind is a honeysuckle that is in front of a fence. Would this work and would they grow up and through the bush. Any tips welcome.

Short answer is yes. You would need to keep an eye on the watering as sweet peas do like a good supply and you may need to feed the sweet peas with a liquid feed. Also make sure you can get at the plants to dead head or your flowering season would be shorter than it should be.

    Hi DavieM,
don't forget to pinch out the tips of your seedling sweet peas when they have got to about 4", to give them a strong root base and make a stronger healthier plant
