    Hi all,

I am new to growing veggies and don't really know what i'm doing - was hoping for a bit of advice please!
I have 2 pepper plants which I bought from a garden centre a few weeks ago. One is titchy and despite having a few flowers, I clumsily managed to knock the little peppers off and now I only have 1 pepper! It doesn't seem to be getting any bigger though - should I be feeding it? The other plant is much bigger and has loads of mini peppers on it; however I don't think it's getting enough sun where it is in the flat. I don't have a greenhouse. Would you recommend I put it outside on the patio while the weather is mild?
    Thanks very much!

If its not too much hassle putting it out during the day and bringing it in for the night when the temperature is forecast to drop below, say, 15C [maybe 10C is OK], then I think that would help it come on.

It will be happier in full sun on a sheltered patio, during the day, than a windowcill, I reckon, but "chilly" nights may cause the fruit to drop.

Need to pot it on into a decent sized pot too - probably 9" minimum, 11" would be ideal I think. If its going to look tiny in a pot that big move it to one half way between current-and-final size for the first stage.

But I've only ever grown them in a greenhouse, so dunno about patio-growing

Thanks for the advice Kristen - I'll do what you suggest and just bring it in when it gets colder. Yeah, it did say on the instructions that a greenhouse was required, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway!
