    I'm at it again - need more advice please :dunno:

    I decided to grow some sweet pepper plants from seed, not least as my better half really likes peppers in all sorts of things - as with my tomato adventures, I ended up with a load more plants than I was expecting and will almost certainly be giving some of them away before long - I was thinking that three would be enough to keep, but don't really know how many fruits each plant will give? I was also going to add them (eventually) to the collection of plants in the polytunnel, in pots;

    Will they be happy growing in pots, supported with canes and string, and is there anything else I need to do?

    Keep as many as you can, their fruits won't be the huge jobs found in the greengrocers and you can remove the seeds and freeze any surplus. Canes are adequate for peppers. Sweet peppers I s'pose? Cheers, Tony.

      Thanks Tony :) - they are sweet peppers, yes. Would I get away with having maybe three in a largeish pot? If I will, then I might manage half a dozen or so.

      Is it simply a case of de-seeding them, bagging them and then popping them in the freezer or is there a lot more to it than that?

      That's all we do. Still got a sackfull from last year. They tend to go limp upon defrosting. Cheers, Tony.

        Good to know - we've been saving glass jars with a view to making sauces out of the tomatoes and peppers, so freezing is another good idea to save us having too many sauces.

        Cheers :)
