T Bags Cat Deterrent

    Watching an old "Gardeners World" re -run on "Blighty":help: this morning and he soaked a TBag with Eucalyptus Oil for use as a cat deterrent :gaagh:, Has anybody tried this ,when the programme originally shown, did it work :happydance:

      My mum used to soak tea bags in Jeys Fluid it worked an absolute treat, took a few periods of rain to wash out too, she didn't need to use a lot either and she just kept them away from the base of the plants....

        Never tried either of those tricks. I have recently been putting down chopped orange peel which seems to be doing the trick.

          I've never tried the teabag thing...will have a go! I know that my last cat always jumped off my knee when I peeled an orange, they HATE the things!

          Mix peel with old coffee grounds, they can't stand it.
