    Oh what fun Mr Orchid man!
    I grow nicotiniana - just the common stuff that smels nice in the summer (I hasten to add not of the above stuff though) Its easy, but I have never been desperate enough to smoke the leaves ;-}

    Haven't smoked for nearly 40 years. However as a kid I tried oak leaves in a plastic bubble pipe.

    As I remember the experiment went OK 'till the pipe melted, can't remember much more 'cos I passed out. :cool:

    As I said I don't smoke but isn't there something about fine cigars and the thigh of a young lady? Maybe Orchid Man is onto something after all ;)

    You can buy the proper tobbaco plant seeds from suffolk herbs ...the plants grow larger than the normal ones and then you can just dry the leaves and crumble them or shred into tobbacoo...
