[IMG] As we only have a small shed I had no where to do any potting up and ended up working on the lawn which made quite a mess, so I was delighted to see an idea in a DIY book which showed an old sideboard with a cupboard at each end and draws in the middle, to use as a potting table.
It said to coat the sideboard with exterior paint and cover the top with a sheet of stainless steel, and then put hooks on the end of the sideboard to hang things on, and other small garden items can be stored in the cupboards and draws.

When I was on my travels one day, I saw in someone garden a sideboard that was the same as the one that I had seen in the book which had been thrown out, so I timidly asked the owners if I could have it and they said yes please take it as we want it out of our way as we are selling the house, so my husband helped me to transport it home.

The next weekend I covered the sideboard in thick plastic to protect it till I could paint it,then I potted some plants up and it was perfect and I had a lovely time working on my new table, now I have somewhere to store my gardening gloves and tools too. Magic.
