Sorry this may be a long thread ... i am new to gardening especially with a small new greenhouse
    I need your advice...
I wish to take cuttings of my many plants acquired this year to over winter in an unheated greenhouse ready for growing on next year. I do not want to have large pots over wintering say about 5cm to 7cm. Summer has started late this year, in five weeks we are into September. Will these survive over winter in the cold greenhouse or should i keep the in my conservatory which is heated but i would not be able to keep so many because of the space.
When do i start taking cuttings of my geraniums, fushias, pinks, lavender, possibly clematis, honeysuckle?. I also have a black eyed susan - can i collect seed of this and grow on next year? I appreciate you help on this matter - thanks in advance everbody...

Hi cm, with honeysuckle i place pots round the main plant and bury a node(off new shoots) in the compost then leave them still spring, then cut them off(from main plant) as they usually root by then..no need for gh :blue thumb: The rest im still learning :heehee: but im sure geraniums dont need a gc either
I also have 21 varieties of fuchsia...are yours hardy??
