    Poor little thing looks petrified. Wonder how they taught him to sing. Ed can tap dance but his singing voice is pretty ropey. He can't hit the high notes in 'Nessun Dorma', keeps getting natural F instead of F sharp. :D [​IMG]

    There has been some stick over this ad, but VW state that the dog is trained to act 'afraid' & that the owner & a vet were on hand the whole time.

    I have seen the advert in question, borrowers, and must admit for an instant I was very concerned about the little shaking dog portrayed. But I think, or would seriously hope, that with TVs strict regulation on welfare of animals filmed, that this is not a case of a dog being distressed in any way to create a convenient advertising coup.

    I hope I am not being naive here.

    The amount of trouble that a company would get in for any underhand methods would preclude any gain from mal-use of an animal in its advertisement campaign.
