I thought it was about time I dropped a few pics in.

 

Blimey! You've been hiding your light under a bushel! The pond is fab

 

Wonderful garden Wee Tam. Is the water feature natural as it looks like it's disappearing into the distance...... a stream perhaps?

Unfortunately the pond aint natural.It took 5 days of hard digging with a mini digger to create it.
Theres a small pond under the bridge which feeds the larger pond.The waterfall is needed aswell as the fountain to give oxygen to the fish hence the netting also.

Freddy theres about 30 large gold orfe in there with 2 subunkins. 18 second year baby orfes and so far ive spotted a few of this years tiny fry also. Theres no filter in there and it seems the natural balance of pond weed,lilies shade and waterfall/fountain keep the water crystal clear.
I do have to go in and clear 80% of the weed/oxygenator about 3 times ayear though and its ****** freezing !
