    Both look great @sal73.
Just been reading about the aeae they like to grow in slightly acid soil and not frost hardy.
They only like half sun because apparently they burn in full sun.
There not cheap either like you say, I think amulree had some in spring
Found these on eBay, I think you'll like a lot of there plants lots of rare variegated ones. :-)

      Sal,

Did you buy one of these?
If it was expensive, I wouldn't risk it.
      Rather keep it indoors.

The seller , is a real pro person who really care about his business and he higly raccomended to wait untill spring as they are really delicate plants and the chance from the sunny Thailand to Uk , is not raccomended at all ....the price is 70 dollar plus shipping .....the other thing that stopped me is the fact that he was selling the siam red , at the same price as he told me that i could find some on internet for £5 ......the siam red has been propagated with tissue culture micropropagation , like the rare ensete has been done and become a popular plant , so I would be gutted to spend all them money and find variegated musa at Lidl ;)

        Sal,
I have found that if you look around, most things are avialable in the UK, if not Europe
And that will work out cheaper.
