Hi everyone How do you rate taptalk? I currently use my laptop, ipad or iPhone to view GC mainly through the internet www.GC.co.uk I would love to receive any views about taptalk, the good and bads
I use TT on my personal mobile, work mobile and tablet. They updated it recently and IMO made it worse to use. Once I'd figured out how to force it to go directly to a list of my forums on opening it instead of to some silly new TT landing page (can't remember how, but it is possible) it is back to being nearly as good as it was. It's quite functional and makes browsing the forum easier than going via t'interwebz on a small phone screen. However you can only like posts (thumbs up) and not rate them as friendly, funny etc. Small gripe though overall
Thanks for the comments.... I had heard that it had been updated and wasn't as good and I've read a few of the reviews some good and more bad!

Thats the only reason i use it. I only have it on my phone for that purpose and use the site on my ipad to browse
That's interesting.... I have a IPhone 6 so to be honest its like having a laptop in your hand, slow putting pictures on I agree, based on what's been said I will probably stick to what I'm using... the only reason I raised the question is that it keeps flashing at me and a few times I've clicked on it by accident, thanks for the info its just confirmed my feelings
I have an iphone too but i think your much more patient than me and i am far lazier lol It annoys me when it keeps flashin up on the ipad even tho i keep ticking skip this step.
I quite like it. I get annoyed by forums because they are subtly different. Some make it hard skipping posts you have already read. Also are often loads of sub forums and I end up missing stuff. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I think it's brilliant, easy yo use and cuts down on my time as I'm a member of so many forums. I just go on the unread tab and read away
Gods honest truth? Get a life! Nothing is so important that we need to be in touch 24/7 except for family illness. I get bumped into at least once a day by people engrossed in their phones as they use the pavement. I really do not hog the pavement so rather than avoid these people now I just brace myself. I am pleased to report that I appear to have broken two phones this way so far in 2015 I've just installed one of these at work and it seems to work well. And this irritates the hell out of me (and a few others too)................ I've even had customers messing with their mobiles whilst talking to me - I just walk off now. Rant over - sorry!
Glad you got that off your chest and I totally agree with your comments.... and glad to say that I don't come under any of the above but its good to understand the technology that is available.
I tried Tapatalk for about 4 days before uninstalling the app. I get on with most new tech stuff, but I found it really irritating to use and offered me no advantages over using Chrome, even thought it was probably a dumbed down way viewing forums, but didn't want to waste any more time on it as I can manage fine without it. And that's from somebody who thinks facebook is also a rubbishy, unwieldy site to use.
