Taylors Garlic Marco &Red barron Onion

Bought these while in Dobbies along with plug plants (fuchsias )

Could I plant garlic and onions in greenhouse in pots?

 

A few of us have started some off in cells or loo rolls or paper pots but I'm not sure about doing that in the long term(presuming that's what your suggesting) or with garlic althought I would have thought it's no different to the onions. I do know someone that grows their onions in crates.

 

Interested how each of you all have different methods to grow.

We've got garlic coming on in our unheated gh. Currently about 2cm high. Intending to plant out in early March.

 

mine do well in paper pots,no root disturbance when planted out. Joyce
