    Hi guys

I have an interview coming up and I have to do a presentation on myself using just photos!!!

I would love to include a photo of me freefalling in my sky dive but I only had video footage.

Is it possible to pull a still from this, perhaps at 5mins 49 secs in this?

    Thanks guys

Have you any photo editing programs on your computer?

I think you can do it from Windows movie maker, but I cannot get mine to work at present.

It can be done (compressed image below):

That is the still from 5m 49s - I can lighten it a bit, and send you a larger size one via email if it helps?

Can't you just take a screenshot (the Print screen key - called PrtSc on my laptop) then paste it into a new document in MS Paint, crop the edges, and save?

As C1 says, but just to add it helps if you pause the movie when you take the screenshot - so you can pick a suitable freeze-frame :)

P.S. Would be better to take the screen shot off the original movie footage, if you have it, as the YouTube one is quite low resolution. If from YouTube then use Full Screen or similar to get the picture as large as possible, and THEN crop and finally reduce it to the size you need for your presentation.

A compilation pic consisting of a few frames could be used to overcome low resolution (and might also appear more dramatic than a single image).
