Tempted! And gave in ....

so I had sworn I wouldn't do pots this year. So I was waiting for the potatoes to boil, and thought about my favourite tulip Angelique. So I idly looked at the Crocus website, oh no, sale on. £40 later.....tulips,crocuses,alliums. So I will be doing pots next week

 

Good choice! Angelique is a lovely tulip You'll have to distract yourself when you're boiling the spuds in future if you don't want to spend anything. Mind you, think how lovely those pots will look next year.

453 so far.....

Waiting for 20 Allium from Parkers, got 10 Ranunculus and 6 Hyacinths to do.

That makes 489 and I bet I'll hit the 500 mark soon

Wow @Anthony Rogers, I can't beat that! Sadly Crocus were out of Angelique so I will have to get some from somewhere else, what a good excuse for another browse! I love them, they are so beautiful

 

I've got a diary note to check Wilkos for reduced bulbs on 30th October as they've reduced them on that date for the last 2 years, with further refuctions down to little as 10p/pack during weeks 2 or 3 of November.

 

Oh dear, @Scrungee, super-reduced bulbs, the weekend I will be home in the UK....
