      Wow, I love it all. Never seen a Double Poincettis. stunning. We saw a fantastic Pyrostegia the other day on a long wall.

          I like that Erythrina, Strongy :) I wonder if it would prove to be as hardy as E. bidwillii is here?

            Not sure @noisette and I don't know if they are easy to find or grown commercially.

                  I presume a cruise unless you sailed around them!!!!!!:biggrin:
                  We visited Santa Cruz by bus again mainly to go to the Palmetum and city gardens.

                    @shiney, we visited the Orchid Gardens last Saturday but it was ruined by contract gardeners around the cafe using chainsaws, There was a cruise party there at the same time.

                      @shiney and @strongylodon did either of you come across Canarina canariensis on your travels.
                      I grew some from seed and its a tuberous rooted climber that dies back in summer and flowers in winter.

                      No flowers on mine yet.

                          Its a winter flowering plant apparently, summer it dies back to tubers, but might just be considered a weed there, perhaps.
