I've been buying my printer ink in Tesco's. My printer is so old now I can no longer buy it in the shop, but can order it via their catalogue.

I didn't want to order it online because of the hassle, so I stopped at customer services in the shop today and asked if I could order and collect it from there. I was told I could collect it from there, but had to order on-line or phone.

So, back to the computer this evening. After the hassle of trying to get passed e-mail address and password, I selected the items and went to check-out. That said, select the store you'd like for delivery. I tried it every which way, but it boils down to the fact, Tesco's direct doesn't recognise it's own store here in Douglas!

They will deliver to my home address but want a fiver for that, it's only ink for goodness sake!

Tomorrow I will ring in and place the order, when I find their number, because it's nowhere to be seen in my telephone book.

They will also get a flea in their ear about this whole situation. So much for shopping on-line!:mad:

That's nothing compared to what they did to me:

So after having to wait nearly 8,000 years to have my camera delivered, they want to turn up at 1 minute to midnight on New Years Eve! What do they expect for keeping my money/goods for 7,988 years - a free glass of champagne?

But it's still working perfectly Watergarden. Mind you tescos is my last resort now, so it won't be long. :)

Lazydog, I'd end up with most of it on me! :heehee:

      I use www.ijtdirect.co.uk
      Very cheap non original cartridges
Posted by split delivery so each order can go through your letterbox (ie no unable to deliver collect at your post depot)

AND if you want to splash out buy three sets of INK and get a free LASER PRINTER
the colour lasers are brilliant and fast
Yes you have to buy two toner cartridges which cost £140 but they do over 2000 photos, and you have a brand new laser printer

Thanks Jack, but I've tried cheaper cartridges in the past and everything seems to come out sepia! I think we'll just have to bite the bullet and invest in a new one. Our old one's a printer/copier/scanner, so that's what we'll be replacing. :)
