Popped into Tescos the other day and noticed their gardening stuff had been replaced with kids school clothes and the gardening stuff was being put on sale down the seasonal aisle.

Been in again yesterday and more stuff had been put out including hanging baskets with liners for just 75p, so I bought a few for next year

Worth keeping an eye because our store never puts everything out at once they tend to do a bit at a time over a period of a few weeks :dbgrtmb:

Thanks for the heads-up, Bilbo: much appreciated!

(I'll toddle off tomorrow and see what our local one has on "offer") :dbgrtmb:

Popped in today, all baskets gone but I did pick up a Sankey heated propagator with trays, lid and capillary matting for £3.50 :dancy:

Thanks Hans but the Tesco's shop here on the island functions differently to the mainland. Everything has to be shipped in so we don't get the offers you do on the mainland. Our phone situation is different too as we don't have the same telecommunication companies. :)

Yes it is lovely here, thanks Hans. :) I've lived here 21 years. TT was perfect this year with the weather staying fine throughout and MGP starts in three weeks. Unfortunately I live on the course, so it makes life a little difficult for moving around at these times.
