I have started learning Scottish Gaelic. I have been at it for just over 10 weeks and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I am using Duolingo which is an excellent and free app, though now I have signed up for the plus package so no adverts or interruptions. They do an amazing range of languages up to and including Navajo. So if you want to learn Welsh, Scottish or Irish Gaelic, Spanish or even Russian(!) that is the way to go.
I just want to say I am in no way connected to Duolingo, just a satisfied customer.
And Tha Gàidhlig glè mhath. Gaelic is very good.

Praise indeed Jocko. Because of the spelling it's not an easy language to read and learn.

Yes Duolingo is good I've been using it for about 3 years now. French as one of our sons has a French partner but I don't really get to see her enough to have a practice. Portuguese...haven't got far . Did consider Iranian.....I can understand quite a bit but speaking and writing it is another matter!!:yikes:

We had a New Year card this week from my sister and bless her she had written a line in Farsi...I asked her how she found writing from right to left...she said I didn't as I didn't know they did!!:heehee:
