I'm a new member, so haven't "met" you before, but my mother suffered with her back so I just wanted to wish you well. So sorry to hear of your predicament.

Hiya Nick, take it easy:) I just showed the wife your pics of the owl. She said "I want one!" Sorry to hear about the bad back. A bad arm, a bad leg, one can cope with that, but a bad back can be totally debilitating, so you have my sympathy:blue thumb: So, like I said, take it easy, and get well soon:dbgrtmb:

Hi Nick,so sorry to hear of your back problems and your stint in hospital and hope you are on the road to recovery as back problems {I suffer as well due to degenerating discs}are not pleasant at the best of times so hopeing you will soon be up and about properly in no time:blue thumb:

Your owl looks to me like a European Eagle Owl so take care if you have smallish dogs around.I expect his owner will be frantically looking for him/her as he has probably had the bird for a long time so keep your ears to the ground for any bird that has gone missing.

Hey Nick [IMG] Good to have you back again mate, poor you..

I have a little bit of an idea what you are going through as my S in L has allot of back problems as he has broken his twice now & had micro surgery on it in the end..
He is often in tremendous pain now but smiles through it.. He had Amartyptaline for a while too some time back & they are good but make you want to sleep, but that sort of is the idea at present so the muscles will relax & allow the back to try & heal..
My S in L took them for about 6 months I think, by which time he had started the yoga as well as a few visits to a gentle Chiroprator now he doesn't take them & still leads a very active life in his tree surgery business & family, but one thing he finds very beneficial is Hatha Yoga as it is gentle but firm stretching of the muscles & tendons & good posture & his movement has been so much better since he started.. Something to think about when you are well again perhaps..

Your Owl visiting was for a reason I think.. They are very spritual birds in a good sense..

I am so glad the police were so helpful too & did the right thing & got you to hospital even if it wasn't what you would have liked..

Soo just take it easy now & pop in for a chat when you feel like it..
