    I used to give away loads of plants.
    These days I only grow what I want myself.

    Nobody round my way grows anything and I'm sure they all think I'm mad.:D

    In Greek mythology, Midas or King Midas (in Greek Μίδας) is popularly remembered for his ability to turn everything he touched into gold: the Midas touch.

    There you go Adam, education is a wonderful thing.
    Wish I had some:dh::dh:

    I'm in mid Kent, its just that most people around here use the garden as a dumping ground or a football pitch these days.
    A few rush out and buy some bedding plants for containers this time of the year but they usually dont bother to water them.

    I guess there are some that do put on a good show, but few and far between.

    Hello Vince!

    Much better to have "Green Fingers" than "The Midas Touch"!

    Every thing he touched turned to gold, and he nearly starved to death.

    One the other hand, green fingers will keep you fed for life.

    Cheers!
