All the answers are a single word with the word 'ant' in them.

All the clues are either cryptic, or refer to the meaning of the whole word, or refer to the meaning of the part of the word that does not contain 'ant' - or any combination of these.

Examples: A very large one = gi'ant'; An insect that prays (or preys) = m'ant'is.
