At Hampton court , when restoring the garden they cut down quite a lot of 400 year old yew , I thought that a shame but afterwards the gardens are amazing but its a shame if they take out the Monkey Puzzle is not blocking anything nor dangerous.

      I've signed.
So called garden restoration is a nightmare, where these so called restoration experts are coming from is a mystery to me.
They seem to be stuck on keeping certain things, as if in some kind of time warp, frozen in time and not allowed to change.

So the bloke didn't like Monkey Puzzle trees?
Hard luck mate, you just designed it, you didn't OWN it.

I've signed too. I don't get it. From the pics the garden looks ok already. I can work a chainsaw. Maybe I should quit my job and become a garden restoration expert and get paid a lot more.
