:thumb: I had an idea... Yes shock horror..!! I do have them sometimes..... :D

:) I was thinking, you know when you take a photo that you are sooo glad you took it because it was the right moment, or you snapped something unintentionally & it turns out to be funny or special, stunning, sensational or whatever.. But there isn't really anywhere to show it..??? Well how about here..??:):)

:thumb: You know the sort of thing I mean... Stunning views, or a favourite local view just caught at the right moment, some of our trees are so majestic looking at this time of year, a raindrop on a lily, laughter, your family .....!!! Or anything you snapped that makes you feel happy & glad you took it...!! :thumb: Be it holiday or home, now or then...!!:)

:thumb: So what have you got folks...????

:) I'll kick it off with a few..

.Never thought I would go to Niagara Falls...

Never though I would get this close..

.Then all in one day in Jamaica I saw the most beautiful... Sunrise

actually it is the reflection of the sunrise in the clouds over the water.. A breath taking silence broken only by the waves lapping & the outboard...

.Sunset... This boat just past at the right time as well..!!!

My favourite of all time has to be this Moon Set.... The Sea Silence & me..!!! It is because we are so near the equator...

:thumb: So what do the rest of you have to show then..???
    :D

I love those, especially the falls and the sunset!

I think my luckiest shot ever was when I caught this horse in full gallop rolling his eyes, during a tournay:

I'm just here with a bit of gab at the moment, must see if I have anything to worth showing.

Marley, the one taken on the Niagara Falls is scarey!! Love the moonlight one, pretty enough to frame and hang on the wall.

Ivory, great shot of the horse in the sepia look!

:) I just thought it would be a good idea Kedi if we had a thread that we could pop that special "one off "photo in, to share with everyone....:D

Looking the tiger in the eye. Yala, an old male white tiger in Tampa Zoo, Florida. We looked at each other for a couple of minutes like this.

 Snake gives me the creeps...!;):D

          :D Did Fred turn up..???:D

:) My daughter used to love to see the White Tigers when they had them at Bristol Zoo back in the 70s... But that was before the glass screens were used so you never got that close like yours.. Of course they are not there now, as Bristol has very few caged animals.:thumb:

She was just walking past me and I had to ask her if I could photograph her. It was difficult because my French is not very good :o.

She was just sitting on a statue of an elephant and was loving it. There was nobody else around apart from her mother and Mrs shiney but the girl didn't care as she was in a world of her own. :)

Thanks Marley, although she looked younger she was 18 years old.

I gave her a couple of US dollars afterwards and you should have seen her smile then :thumb: :D. I found out later that the average wage for the locals was 2 dollars a month  :)

:) These three just wanted their photo taken.. They are beautiful children, we talked for ages & they told me all about their lives.. They actually live in the countryside in Jamaica & live a very poor but happy life. They are 3 of Barbara's, my lady who looks after our place in Jamaica, grandchildren. They came to visit.. The oldest one want to be a western Dr.:)

:) These are another three of her grand children at their own home. The little girl is very very bright & left the Infants last year as the only commended student, she stood on a stage before 100s of parents children & staff. Held a micro phone & read a 3 page story she had written about my husband & myself. She did it word perfectly & without a falter.. She won't be 5 until November..!! She is a beautiful girl. The 2 little boys really are the little Imps they look too....:D
